Country, Federal style, figured maple candle stand. Nicely turned curly maple column with three, dovetailed, birdseye maple splay legs terminating in slightly raised feet, all supporting an oblong octagonal top of three curly and birdseye maple boards. 19th century. Sound, serviceable condition. Slight distress to finish on top should be an easy enough project for the next owner. No condition issues with wood or joints. Height, about 30 1/2 inches. Acquired from a Frederick MD dealer who in turn acquired it from a Harford County Maryland estate sale.
