A fine and rare Koboshi Kabuto. Sixty two plate, about two thousand standing rivets, all with russet finish. Probably original maebashi, fukigaeshi (both faced with embossed and dyed deer hide) and hachitsuke-no-ita. The shikoro lames (image coming) are included but need to be reattached. Signed inside on the back plate, "Soshu (Sagami province) Ju Myochin". Early 17th century, probably Momoyama period. The kabuto is in good condition. The shikoro need to be reattached. The deer hide facings are distressed. More images to come
